To be specific means to use facts and details to make sure you are communicating clearly. Being specific is knowing what you need, how you need it, where and when you need it.
According to Mark 10:49-51 49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”
If we look closely we will notice the blind man named exactly what he need “His Sight” He was specific on his respond.
Many christian today pray and pray and they did not get an answer, is not that God did not hear them, they are not specific in there prayer.
The book of John 16:24 the bible says “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.“
So how can we be specific in our prayer
- Be clear on what you need not what you want.
- Be sure to mention what you need by name cause every need do have a name.
- Believe in your heart that God hard your prayer.
- Be expectant knowing that He will do it.
